Thank you for making our 2011 Conference a success!
On behalf of the Ontario Association of Children’s Rehabilitation Services, our 2011 Conference Planning Committee and our co-host Ottawa Children’s Treatment Centre, we would like to thank everyone who participated in the OACRS 2011 Annual Conference – “Together For Excellence. ”
We would like to the take opportunity to thank this year’s conference co-host Ottawa Children’s Treatment Centre (OCTC). Inspired by OCTC’s celebration of 60 years of excellence; the Conference Planning Committee set to work to deliver a program that highlights our sector’s collective work in the pursuit of excellence. Whether it is through participation in new and emerging research projects, the development innovative programs and best practices or the day-to-day delivery of core services Ontario’s paediatric rehabilitation sector is always striving to achieve excellence - together.
We are so grateful to our conference committee in working hard to bring together a great line-up of speakers. Our opening keynote speaker Retro Bill motivated delegates to seek happiness and excellence in all aspects their life. This year we are brought a little of Ottawa to Toronto with the OACRS Byward Market – an opportunity to network, speak directly with poster presenters and discover the latest and greatest in resource materials and equipment. Our closing Keynote Presentation - Together for Excellence – Youth Panel, featuring four young people from across the province who shared their wisdom regarding engaging youth to guide us toward continued excellence.

Whether you have came to the OACRS Conference as a parent, clinician, volunteer, manager or partner, we hope that you found sessions and keynote speakers that encourage and motivate you. We hope that you were able to meet up with old friends and make new ones. We hope you will take new found knowledge and networks back to your home communities and continue your pursuit of excellence.
